How to Check OOPBuy QC Photos
QC photos can help you compare a received item with the selected option, but they do not guarantee quality, authenticity or suitability.
- Short answer: QC photos are a comparison tool. When warehouse photos are available, compare the visible item with the option you selected and the original seller listing. They can reveal clear mismatches, but they do not guarantee quality, authenticity or fit.
Prepare before photos arrive
Save the product URL, selected colour, size and quantity when you place a request. Without those details, it is easy to compare a photo with the wrong variant. The OOPBuy Spreadsheet hub is useful for research, but your final reference should be the live listing and your chosen option.
QC photo checklist
- Match the variant first. Check visible colour, size label, quantity and accessories against your order details.
- Compare with the seller listing. Look for obvious differences in model, material appearance, print placement or included items.
- Use measurements when shown. A ruler or measurement photo can be more useful than a generic size label. Compare it with an item that fits you.
- Inspect visible construction. Look at seams, closures, hardware and edges only where the photos make them clear.
- Do not infer hidden details. A single angle cannot confirm material feel, long-term durability or areas outside the frame.
- Write down specific questions. If something is unclear, ask about the exact image, option or measurement rather than making a broad assumption.
Separate QC from shipping decisions
Photo review checks whether the visible item resembles the option you selected. Shipping is a separate question that depends on package size, weight, destination and current service rules. Keep those decisions separate so that you do not treat an estimated shipping cost as product verification.
When you should pause
Pause before shipment if the size label, colour, count or visible item does not match your order details, or if the photos are too unclear to compare. A specific follow-up question is more useful than guessing from a thumbnail.
A practical record to keep
Keep the source link, selected option, price check and QC notes in one place. For the earlier link check, read How OOPBuy links work. This simple record makes it easier to spot a mismatch and prevents variant confusion later.

Questions about this guide
Can QC photos prove authenticity?
No. Photos are not an authenticity guarantee. They are only one part of reviewing the item you received in the warehouse.
What if a QC image is unclear?
Ask the handling service what additional information is available before you make a shipping decision.
